Privacy & terms of use

In short: we keep your uploaded photos private until review, only publish your before/after when you give permission, and you can ask us to remove your submission at any time via trumpifybelgium@proton.me.

1. Who is responsible

This campaign is a private initiative by AI Donkey, reachable at trumpifybelgium@proton.me. AI Donkey is the controller for the data you submit through this site.

2. What data we collect

When you submit, we process: your name and a public display name, your email address, the title and description you provide, the two photos you upload (the original BEFORE photo and your own Trumpified AFTER photo), the chosen language, your consent choices, and technical data (timestamp and IP address) used against abuse and spam.

When you endorse the campaign message, we process: the name you provide and your country (both shown publicly on the wall and the world map), plus your IP address against abuse. We do not ask for an email address here.

3. What we use it for

We use your data to (a) review and moderate your submission, (b) contact you about your submission if you chose that, and (c) publish your display name, your BEFORE photo and your Trumpified AFTER photo on this website and, if you ticked the box, on social media. We never publish your email address or your full name.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give separately per purpose and can withdraw at any time.

5. Your obligations when submitting

By submitting, you declare that you hold the rights to both photos (the BEFORE and the AFTER), that you made the Trumpified version yourself, and that everyone recognisable agrees to the processing and possible publication. Do not submit photos of recognisable minors, and no nudity, hateful, discriminatory or unlawful material. We review every submission and publish nothing automatically.

6. How long we keep it

We keep original photos until the end of the campaign. Published images stay online until the end of the campaign or until you request removal. After that we delete the file and the related data.

7. Who we share with (processors)

We store data with Supabase (storage and database, EU region) and host the site with Vercel. For bot protection we use Cloudflare Turnstile. These parties process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We never sell your data.

For anonymous visitor statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without personal data, and therefore requires no cookie consent.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and you can withdraw your consent. Send your request to trumpifybelgium@proton.me. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

9. Satirical nature

Trumpify Belgium is a satirical, humorous campaign concept. It is not official and not affiliated with any government, party or public figure. Edited images are parody.
